I knew if I waited long enough in my life, and I have, I would find the perfect tattoos for me. Now I have found like a million of them. (see above)
I also want a huge atom on my arm, with maybe little electrons for all of my children, and then the rest, along the lines of these that you see above. I really cant quite fathom how somethings can be so cute.

I, too, have a hard time finding tattoos that are just right... I tend not to like really traditional tattoo styles. I find that the illustrations in children's books hold a lot of great tattoo inspiration. The next one I plan to get (#3) is from the book The Runaway Bunny. Do you know it?
Anyway, the pictures you linked to are nice. I especially like the girl blowing bubbles on a dude's neck. Though I don't think I'd ever do one on my neck. I'm sticking with arms and back. For now, anyway. :-)
Thats so awesome...I, too, am somewhat obsessed with alot of children's book illustrations and have all sorts of pages earmarked for future tattoos, wall hangings, and other designs. I love the runaway bunny and would be extremely intrigued to hear which picture it is that has you inspired.
Any pics of your tattoos available? I am in love with the wooden Fisher Price Little People and always wanted something with them...maybe with blue hair though? :)
Hey, Joy. I'm going to get the page with the mom as the tree and the bunny with birdy wings. "If you become a little bird and fly away from me, I will be the tree that you come home to." I LOVE THIS PAGE. Love the image, love the text. Love it. And if only I could live up to it, I'd be pretty proud of myself as a mama.
If you go to my blog, on the right hand side is a list of topics. It says, "Maiasaura On..." and tattoos is somewhere on there. You can see both of them in the first picture, but only a close up of the most recent, my Maiasaura tattoo. My first is of a little girl kneeling, holding up a heart with wings. One of my friends drew it.
The wooden Little People idea is great. You'd have to find someone really talented to get it right, though. I'm a little nervous about my Runaway Bunny arm... I hope my tattoo lady can do the original illustration justice!

I had never heard of Tokidoki but the little skull character is way cool.
